Kodi 17.4 update is now stable and ready to install. There were no security holes to fix in this release so this is not a mandatory update. If you keep 17.3, things should keep working like normal. If you update to 17.4, you probably won't notice anything different unless you have been experiencing problems with something that they fixed.
